Higdonion Roll Cage for Honda Talon

The CAD-designed roll cages assemble using a patent-pending design that uses specialty welding techniques, combined with oversized automotive chassis-grade hardware. Higdonion took the time to patent the design because of the superior strength and rigidity provided by the structure. The cage uses 0.095 wall DOM tubing, which is the same thickness off-road racing organizations require for cages.

One of the most important areas of a UTV cage is the strength of the A-Pillars. When a UTV crashes, the A-Pillars crush in towards the passenger or driver. This means the driver and passenger are at risk for head injuries if the cage collapses. As a result, Higdonion uses a race inspired design to strengthen the A-Pillars. Cages are built with a triangulated design across the top of the car to build exceptional strength and rigidity for the A-Pillars. The B-Pillar is triangulated at the cross beams to help build even more strength.

Also included with the roll cage is a rear bumper for the Talon. The cage is extended to bolt onto the rear radius rods. This further enhances the strength of the Talon. It also helps to protect the back of the Talon in the event of a rear crash. A cross beam is included to accept four- or five-point race harnesses. High-quality button socket head Dzus fasteners attach the roof and rear panel, which facilitates installation. This fully powdercoated Honda Talon roll cage comes with an aluminum roof, rear bumper and aluminum cover.

The cage is available in two colors:

  • Semi Gloss Black: This is a match to the Honda OEM tube color.
  • Textured Black: This is darker than the OEM tube color and makes a nice contrast for the panels. The texture helps with durability of the roof and rear panel and is best for riding in areas where trees and debris may scratch the pillars.
